Integration with paid memberships pro gist plugin and wp affiliate plugin

I have purchased the WP Affiliates plugin to integrate it with Paid Memberships Pro to be able to have a Stripe payment gateway with recurring affiliate payments.

I know that you didn’t create this code, but I am hoping you can tell me what to do with it. They call it a plugin but it doesn’t allow me to install the download as a plugin.

The author has provided no instructions and others have posted this same question as I am here in the authors support thread, but he hasn’t responded, so I am hoping you can assist with what seems like a simple question.

Note that I am not a programmer at all and just need a laymans terms answer of how to install the gist to get the integration working.
