I’d like affiliates to send traffic to my lead capture page: [http://brianowens.biz/the-allspark]
But the offer where a sale gets generated is on the redirect page at [http://brianowens.biz/the-allspark/the-shovel-spark]
The squeeze is using an Aweber form, NOT a contact form 7 form.
Is there a way to integrate WP affiliate with aweber so I can track leads and keep them on my list?
The commission tracking will work fine how you have it setup currently. The only thing you want to make sure is that you have used the following instruction to do the PayPal button integration:
When you say “capture lead with AWeber” do you mean that you want the user’s details to go under the affiliate plugin’s leads menu?
Yes, I’d like to give credit for the leads they generate through my squeeze page, but keep the leads in aweber.
I’m a little fuzzy on how the tracking works. I have the default URL set to my squeeze page, but I’ll have many products for sale using s2member. Will visitors get cookied no matter what page an affiliate sends traffic to?
Yes, visitors will get cookied no matter what page on your WordPress site they are sent to.
1) Lets say an affiliate sends a visitor to your squeeze form page:
example.com/squeeze-form-page
2) This visitor later goes to your product/membership sales page and purchase the item:
example.com/your-product-landing-page
3) The commission from this sale will be given to the affiliate who sent this visitor (see point #1)
Right, but there’s no way to also pay them per lead, since aweber doesn’t send tracking for subscriptions back to wpaffiliate
Yes thats right. We don’t have any Pay Per Lead integration with AWeber. The only supported Pay Per Lead options are listed in our documentation here:
