Hello! I am wanting to add in my own customized Paypal buttons to the cart page. So for instance instead of the standard Paypal button that shows when you put in the [wp_eStore_cart] shortcode, I want to add in a button I created on Paypal. Any help would be appreciated!
August 27, 2019 at 3:03 am #79849adminKeymasterNo, thats not how any WordPress plugin works. You need to use the shortcode provided by the plugin for the button to work.
Your request is a little bit unusual also. Why would you want to put a button from there into the cart. That doesn’t really make any sense. The plugin has all the feature to offer a fully functional “add to cart”, “Buy now” or “subscription” type buttons.
The folloiwng video tutorial shows how the plugin works:

So when they pay for the items in their cart it lets my membership database know what level has been paid for. That is why I am wanting to add in my own paypal button. The buttons associated with the cart don’t allow for that. Thank you for the help!

What is wrong with using the native eStore –> eMember integration?
Are you using eMember for membership management, or “something else?”
August 28, 2019 at 12:25 am #79852kmulligan01MemberI had already previously purchased the WP Membership Plugin. I was trying to see if there was way to connect what I have to the estore I purchased without buying another plugin. Thank you for the help anyway.
August 28, 2019 at 12:34 am #79853wzpModeratorYou are referring to the “WP Membership Plugin” on Envato Market?
August 28, 2019 at 1:10 am #79854kmulligan01MemberYes it’s called the “Simple Membership Plugin”. I really like the estore’s add to cart variation button. I have membership levels that have price variations. That’s why I turned to the estore plugin is because it displays all my prices in a very customer friendly way. I was just trying to see how I could integrate the two.
August 28, 2019 at 1:26 am #79855adminKeymasterI will look at doing an integration in the future.
