Install WP Affiliate on multi sites/installs

I have 2 websites selling 2 different programs and I want each to operate independently of each other

I installed WP Affiliate to the first site on purchase using the download link

For the other site, I installed the plugin from my downloads folder

But the settings for site 2, are a mirror of site 1 (same affiliates already set up, default landing page showing as applicable to site 1) but I need site 2 to be a clean install. If I change the settings in site 2, will it automatically change the settings on my original site?

The configuration of the affiliate plugin on each WP install is separate (one doesn’t affect the other). So you don’t have any issue for what you are trying to do.

When you say mult-site, do you mean WordPress’s multi-site feature or do you mean two separate WordPress installs?
