Hello – I’m a beginner WordPress user, so I apologise if am asking an obvious question.
I would like to insert a thumbnail image into a blog post. I would like that thumbnail to appear in the body of a paragraph (i.e. the text of that paragraph wraps around the thumbnail). When the user clicks on the thumbnail, I would like a full size version of the image to appear, using the Lightbox Ultimate shortcode.
I have been able to successfully use Lightbox Ultimate to display the full sized image when the user clicks on the thumbnail, but <only> when the thumbnail is displayed on a separate line in the post. Is there a way for that thumbnail to appear in the body of the paragraph? In other words, with the text of the paragraph running around the thumbnail image.
I am using WP Lightbox 1.7.4
With thanks for any help.
August 9, 2012 at 6:55 am #48217wpCommerceModeratorHi, Do you want this for all the shortcode anchor images (thumbnail) on your site?
August 9, 2012 at 10:21 am #48218moncur83MemberThanks for your prompt response!
Yes – each blog post would include a thumbnail image in the first paragraph. Clicking on that thumbnail should trigger Lightbox Ultimate to display a full-sized version of that thumbnail.
With thanks,

The post where I am trying to achieve this effect is the most recent post on the blog called ‘Perhaps – post #2’

Lightbox Ultimate – How to Add Custom CSS to a Lightbox Anchor (Text or Image)
By default each shortcode div takes the whole block. But you can specify it to be inline (so you can place other elements side by side). For example:
.lightbox_ultimate_image_anchor {
display:inline;
}Let me know how it goes.
