I imported my wp users into emember. They originally joined through WishlistMember using 2Checkout as the payment gateway. Their memberships are set to renew each year. How will emember know that a recurring payment has been processed on 2Checkout for these members that have been imported?

The payment gateway doesn’t let the existing recurring payment to be changed in any way. You just let the users signup for new payments using the new system. Over time the old ones will die off. From time to time you can make some manual adjustments to the membership profile (if needed) when they cancel an existing old recurring payment.
