Imported resolution photos is lower than original

Hi,
photo seller imports lower resolution of imported photos in bulk mode
photos to import are in a zip file at res 3000×2000, imported photo res is 2560×1707.
I tried with 100 photos zip files and 5 photos zip files the problem is the same.
if a customer goes on shop page it display (un)correctly imported resolution 2560×1707.

if i upload a photo in media library separately it’s correctly imported at 3000×2000

EDIT:
Sorry wrong check. If I upload a photo in media library (out of plugin) wp resizes photo. So is not a plugin problem but a wp issue. Some hints?

Is the big_image_size_thresold introduced with wp 5.3
