Tagged: members, password change
I understand that WordPress and eMemeber use separate databases for membership, and that eMembers doesn’t even share members on a multisite like WordPress does, but if I have all these boxes checked that’s described here: https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/using-emember-with-another-plugin-that-uses-the-wordpress-user-roles-350
…so that users are automaticly logged in to WordPress when they log in to eMemebers, and then a user changes his/her password – WHAT happens? Is the password also changed in WordPress, or does the “log in to WordPress automaticly”-function no longer work after this?
Yes, the password automatically changes too. Everything is kept in sync in the background so the auto login continues to work.
