I am using WP 3.8. Plug in version v8.7.6. I have tried re installing the plug in and also tried creating a separate category for the level. When I go to the admin page- the levels are showing check marks to the right pages/posts but when I log in to the different levels I am able to see all of the pages/posts. I can not get the level permissions to work. I am using the theme Boxes by Theme Junkie. If I switch the theme to the default 2013- I can see the permissions saying I can not view- and can see the content that was set for the permission. If that helps- so obviously this is a theme conflict.
Happy to provide log ins if you need to review.
Thanks
Is this theme firing the wordpress filter correctly on the posts and pages?
Sorry, I have no idea what you mean by Firing the filter correctly>>
There is a content filter called “the_content” (this is a core WordPress mechanism). We use that filter to hook into the content (example: a post) and check permission. If the theme is messing up that filter then the membership plugin won’t be able to check the permission and can show the behavior you explained.
