I cant seem to get the quantity to update

OK I just bought the WP estore plug in and I think i have it all installed correctly.

what I want it to do is when a person adds an item to their cart, and checks out, i want it to then read as sold out. and I have altered the first product to be only 1c and have tried several times to see if it changes but it isnt.

I have the quantity listed as 1 in the inventory control, im lost! please help! thank you!

The inventory is only updated after the customer confirms the payment. Many people will hit checkout then abandon the cart right before they enter their credit card info. You don’t want the inventory to update before the payment because you actually haven’t sold anything.
