Hi, My client bought e member plugin and I;m trying to install it on their website. It doesn’t work. I tested if it works on my website and I get the same error message. So, after trying to upload the plugin to the server, such message appears:
Incompatible archive. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
After getting such error message I uploaded the plugin to the server manually but I’m not able to unzip. I get such error message:
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
unzip: cannot find zipfile directory
Can you help me?
DO NOT use the built-in uploader/installer of WordPress…

Please manually upload the zip file to the server, and follow the above referenced installation instructions. If you are using FTP, please remember to use the binary transfer mode.
Hi, there is something wrong with the e-member.zip file my client got from you. I can’t even unzip it to my desktop using the standard winrar software. I get a message that the file is corrupted, that there is something wrong with the zipfile.
It means I cannot instal the plugin. It is worthless. I need help with it.
