I am not able to send data from emember to mailchimp

In WP eMember – Autoresponder Settings>>Maichimp settings i haved filled up the List name and the API KEY, but the mailchim list does not show th new registrations.

The APIKEY is activated in mailchimp.

I see in mailchimp taht each list has a unique ID but you ndo not aks for it.

What can i do? I would not like to export the member manually.

    Thanks and regards

    Hi,

Please enable debug for eMember and then share the output from the eMember_debug.log file after you have tried another signup attempt.

See this link for enabling debug:

    Dear Peter:

I am happy to say that now emember is sending the members to mailchimp correctly. Sorry for the earlier trouble.

I have now another problem: Mailchimp sends a “final welcome email” to the subscribers coming from emember, and i do not want thy to do that, because i am doing email confirmation with emember.

Maichimp says: We only send confirmation emails to new members of your list if they subscribe from a form you have pointing to MailChimp that uses our confirmation process.

    Can you help with this?

    Thanks for your help

Austoresponders use a double opt-in system by default.

Go to the following interface of eMember and check the “Disable Double Opt-In” field to turn off double opt-in for your mailchimp signups via eMember:

eMember settings -> Autoresponder settings -> MailChimp settings

I had already done what you say, but mailchimp continues sending the final welcome email.

In the Mailchimp list, where i send the members, i have not checked ” send final welcome email”.

I have send an email to mailchimp and i will let you know the answer they give me.

    Thanks and regards

The “final welcome” email is something which you most probably configured in your mailchimp account.

Log into your mailchimp account and click the “Design a Form” button.

Then from the drop down box called “Forms and response emails” choose “Final “Welcome” email”.

There should be a checkbox which you can disable.

This is a copy of the email received from mailchimp:

“We were able to test the signup form associated with the list Formula ina and we are not receiving the Final Welcome Email. The only email that we have received is the confirmation email which is part of the double opt in process and is not able to be toggled on and off when using the mailchimp signup form. The guide below will expalin the entire double optin process. :-)

How does double opt-in work?: [http://eepurl.com/gOG1]

So, aparently is not way of avoiding that mailchimp sends an email in any case, even if this email is redundant with the emails sent by eMember.

I have read, (and asked mailchimp for confirmation)that i use the import function in Maichimp, in this case Mailchimp will not send any email. That will be the only solution, but it is manual.

I have not seen an export to csv tool inside eMember. Yes in eStore. Do you have something?

Go to the following area of eMember plugin where you can get a list of all the email addresses of your members and export their details in a CSV file:

WP eMember -> Members -> Member Lists
