I am looking to setup a store to sell ebooks from. Is that possible using wp estore. It seems to me that it is better for single purchase pages within a wordpress blog, or is there some way to achieve what I am looking to do?

I would have different categories, and would want to be setting upa category and then have a handful of books within that category related to that particular category heading

Is that possible with this particular plugin?

You can display all the products from certain categories and create a page like the example shown on our products page:

Since you said you are going to sell eBooks, then you also might want to consider stamping them via the PDF Stamper plugin (this is optional and you can achieve your goal without it but it adds some protection to your e-books). More details here:
