Hyper link Title

Hello,

On the following page at Tips & Tricks (http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/products) the Title is hyper linked. i.e. If you click on the title of the first product it goes to a more detailed page offer more information.

My question. How do you hyper link the Title? I tried but the title keeps stripping out the HTML and just leaving the text.

Specify the target page URL value for a product in the following field of that product and eStore will automatically link the tittle to that page when using a fancy display:

On your page at: (http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/products) you also have a hyper link titled “More Info” wich goes to the URL in “Product Page URL”.

I would like to do the same. I presume (though not sure) that I need to include a short code in the “Product Description” that goes to URL in “Product Page URL”.

I did search all the short code for the “Product Page URL” variable but could not find any.

So, my question. How to I get a hyper link located in Product Description to go to the URL that is in: “Product Page URL” field?

The product description field can take HTML code. So all I did is add the following HTML in the description section of that product:

<a href="http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/my-product-page">More Info</a>

So there is not a short code for this… That seems strange given given that I have the value stored in “target page URL”.

For me, I am selling 175 MP3’s files. So to do what I want to do… I have to go into every product page and add the “target page URL” variable that is already story as a variable. Am I reading this correct? There isn’t a work around?

We are definitely not talking on the same wave length.

There are two fields…

1) Product Page URL – the url you enter in this field will be linked with the product title (this is explained in the help text of that field)

2) Product Description – this field can be used to add a description for your products. Whatever you enter in this field is shown in the fancy display as a description.

Field 1 and Field 2 have no relationship with each other.

You asked me how I added the “more info” link in my description on the Tips and Tricks HQ products page. I added it in the description section as plain HTML code (no shortcode). The description field can take HTML (this allows the user to do some customization in that field).

In my above post I was referring to “Product Page URL” and not “target page URL”
