In the Affiliate Center, the defined banner adds all display properly including the code snippet that they should copy and paste into their website. HOWEVER, when they click into the box to the right of the banner that contains the html code, the code disappears so they are not able to copy it. In my testing, it appears that the initial click into the box wipes the code….if I “undo” from the edit menu the code re-appears and allows me to select/copy the code. Appears to auto select the text int the box and then replace with a space when I click into the box?
I am running WP Affiliate version 5.5.8 in the website. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This kind of techniques should be applied to certain fields that are controlled by that theme or plugin. Applying these to all fields on the web page is just bad coding.
Can you please do the theme test mentioned here to verify this for me?

If your theme turns out to be the issue, you could try and use option 1 (see the following documentation) to get around it:

October 4, 2013 at 4:47 am #58122kworrellSpectatorShould switching themes for the theme test loose any of the settings so that when I switch back I will not have any problems (things work they way they did before the test) ?
I looked at the Option 1 work around briefly and the text box works properly there in the stand alone mode……but I do loose out on the consistent look/feel….
October 4, 2013 at 5:24 am #58123adminKeymasterIf you switch to the default WordPress theme to test and check then switch back to your original theme, you won’t lose anything.
October 5, 2013 at 8:05 pm #58124kworrellSpectatorI ran the theme test and it did prove that the theme was causing a conflict. I was running the Avada Theme from ThemeFusion version 2.1. I upgraded the Avada Theme to 3.1.1 (latest release) and it resolved the problem. Thank you for all your help!
