I have found that when I use [emember_protected] with [/emember_protected] tags in posts where there are images with captions, the caption tags don’t work and are just shown as text before and after the image. For example:
[caption id="attachment_484" align="alignleft" width="300" caption="Photo 4 - Cold Air Supply in Stove Cavity Before Insulating"] then the image itself followed by [/caption]
If you first look at the post through the Preview function, everything works, but if you do this through the site, the captions show up as described above.
I am using WordPress 3.3.1 and eMember Version v7.5.6
Thanks for your help in advance.
Tom
Hi,
Without seeing this it’s a bit hard for us to understand the nature of the problem.
Can you please provide a link to the actual page or test page with an example of the problem with a test membership login?
The site is http://www.catalina380.org/newwebsite
login: guest
password: catalina380
Search for “Garhauer Dingy” which should bring up one article where you can see this. It appears to happen any time an image falls between the [emember_protected] and [/emember_protected] tags.
Hi,
I’ve had a look at the page and yes I can see what you’re talking about.
I’m not immediately able to see the cause of the problem.
You are obviously using the twentyten theme – have you modified this theme by any chance?
Let’s check if another plugin (not eMember) could be breaking the [caption] shortcode funtionality.
Can you please try the plugin conflict test as per the link below:

Captions are another shortcode that comes form WordPress. When you place a shortcode inside another shortcode it is called nesting shortcode. This post might help:
