Hi,
You already explain at https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/multiple-vendors-on-the-same-site-digital-products-only#post-7998 how to do but it is not clear for me.
I assume that on the product using a vendor e-mail in “Buy Now or Subscription Type Button Specific Settings” the vendor will get the message.
But what about the automatic relation with his Paypal account to get his money when you click on the buy now button and go to the Paypal site ? On the Paypal payment parameters I defined only one Paypal account by default. How the vendor account number is changed on a flight automatically ?
Thank you for clarification.
Other question:
How to get the last WP Estore version, I am running the Version v6.9.6.4. is it the last compatible with WordPress 3.9.1 ?

When using that option, with eStore generated Buy Now or Subscription buttons, the vendor’s Paypal email address is passed on to the PayPal checkout page. The PayPal transaction credits the vendor’s PayPal account, not yours.

That is correct.

You should get the latest version:

June 10, 2014 at 9:02 pm #63610Pitou31MemberHi again,
When I am using a direct using Buy Now buttons I am able to attach the product to a particular vendor by using his particular address which make the automatic payment to his own Paypal account. To do that I never use a cart.
But I have to sell different products, not only digital products, and some of them have variation product.
Will it be possible to do the same by using a shopping cart ?
Will it be possible to force the payment as soon as the shopping cart is done for one product and to prevent the user to add additional product on the existing shopping cart ?
If it is not possible on a standard way do you think that it will be possible by software modification ?
Thanks for your help.
June 11, 2014 at 12:04 am #63611wzpModeratorTo do this, you also need the Affiliate Platform plugin:
Essentially, your vendors will be setup as “affiliates.” The cart payment goes to your PayPal account, and at the end of your “sales cycle,” you will payout commissions to your vendors.
June 11, 2014 at 6:26 am #63612Pitou31MemberThank you for your reply. I can understand the way to work by including the Affiliate plugin. Nevertheless it is not exactly the way I imagine to work with.
The main reason is to avoid any payment in my account and to proceed to a posteriori compensation to the vendor.
Any other solution consisting for example to prevent to mix in the shopping cart more than one single product in order to simulate direct buy now button from the shopping cart. Can we imagine that WP Estore will integrate this solution based on one additional parameter saying to force the sale per product (one single shopping cart transaction per product).
If not can I get help to know where to modify the WP Etore code to implement it?
June 11, 2014 at 6:33 am #63613Pitou31MemberSorry I forgot to say that in addition of the reasons the vendors (product authors) do not have any personal blog or site to affiliate.

That doesn’t matter. The Affiliate Platform is only used to “trick” eStore and PayPal into using a single shopping cart for revenue sharing purposes.

It would require a significantly major rewrite of the plugin, or even the creation of an entirely new plugin. The demand for such a capability would be extremely limited to situations in which the site operator is attempting to give the appearance of being an uninvolved “middleman” in the transaction process. If you are seriously interested in pursuing that kind of solution, you’re invited to solicit us for a custom work order:

June 11, 2014 at 4:23 pm #63616Pitou31MemberWhat about the language ? Does the French language is supported ? If translation is necessary do you have the .PO and .MO files ?
June 11, 2014 at 11:03 pm #63617adminKeymasterThe front end of the plugin (custom visible texts and messages) can be translated to any language. There is already a french translation for eStore I believe. You can select it from the estore settings.
