How to use extra_info column ?

I would like to use the extra_info column on the wp_wp_eMember_members_tbl for a member description field.

I don’t see it used anywhere in the registration form.

What is the real purpose of this column?

Hi, Couldn’t you add a custom field and use it for the member description?

My understanding is that the “extra_info” column is used for the bookmarking feature purposes.
