How to setup recurring membership using WooCommerce and Stripe

I am using the first scenario here- https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/a-typical-member-registration-flow-96

I have “eMember WooCommerce Addon” and “WooCommerce Stripe Gateway” plugins, which have been tested and are both working fine.

What the client is asking for is the ability to allow automatic yearly membership renewals with Stripe. I can not seem to find any documentation (or forum answers) for this. Any help?

What the client is asking for is the ability to allow automatic yearly membership renewals with Stripe.

You need to be able to process recurring subscription payments. The WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway, by itself, does not support recurring subscription payments. You also need the WooCommerce Subscriptions extension.

Just thought of mentioning this since it has a cheaper alternative for stripe subscriptions compared to the woocommerce one.
