Hi guys,
I wondering how to do this:
1. I have Main website with shop (eStore of course – Domain no.1
2. I have all of my products there (cd, dvd, seminars and membership access)
3. But the Membership website is on different domain, base on different WordPress (of course with eMember) – Domain no.2
How to sell quick from – Domain no.2 with eStore from – Domain no.1 ?
The same is with eAffiliate, with works on – Domain no.1
Regards

It doesn’t work like that. You need to install the membership plugin on domain 1 or have another set of ecommerce and affiliate plugin installed on domain 2.
June 22, 2010 at 10:00 am #21915TserinMemberOk, then how to connect it ?
I do not want to have a few different websites and webshops, because this can make a mess in head of my customers.
What do you think: maybe good idea, will be one database for all of those WordPress and webshops ?
June 22, 2010 at 10:16 am #21916TserinMemberHmm, or maybe Multi site option ?
1. Main domain with all plugins
2. Different domains where I can use all of your plugins ?
June 23, 2010 at 3:17 am #21917amin007ParticipantOkay for all these 4 different site do you have one WordPress installed or 4 different WordPress installed? I am pretty sure you have got 4 different WordPress installed. You need to understand how the web works first. When you are using a WordPress plugin you need to use a separate copy for every WordPress install. If you could access the backend of one site from another that would be a major security issue.
June 23, 2010 at 9:35 am #21918TserinMemberAmin sure, I know this.
My needs are complex. I want to:
1. Sell my normal products, digital products, seminars tickets and membership access via eStore
2. Promote all of them via eAffiliate
Question is:
But how to track the sales when I am selling products from shop
and tickets from different websites and membership is another website ?
Do you think it should be like that ?:
1. shop.domain.pl (with affiliate addon)
2. seminar.domain.pl (with redirection into shop ? to buy ticket ?)
but how to make affilate page ? another one ?
but how to track the clicks, and salles ?
Hmm, I am kinda lost
and your advise and help will be very appreciate!

Why don’t you install WPMU on your site if you want to have multiple sites on your sub-domains? Then you can install all the plugins on your main domain and you will have access to it from all of your sub-domains.
June 24, 2010 at 9:20 am #21920TserinMemberHi Amin,
Well, I was thinking that new WordPress 3.0 will be the same like WPMU, but sure I will check this now.
If this will work with sub-domains, and I can map them to outside domain, then cool.
Example:
seminar1.domain.pl -> customer will see http://www.domain1.pl
seminar2.domain.pl -> customer will see http://www.domain2.pl
seminar3.domain.pl -> customer will see http://www.domain3.pl
If eShop eAffiliate and eMember will work on this, then… Alleluja
June 29, 2010 at 12:09 pm #21921TserinMemberHallo ?
June 30, 2010 at 2:09 am #21922amin007ParticipantYeah the plugin will work once you setup the MU environment.
July 24, 2010 at 11:13 am #21923TserinMemberAmin: unfortunately it does not work.
I. Plugin is activated only on main domain
Main domain + eShop
Test product id:1
http://tserin-media.pl/2010/07/24/test-products/
visible – working
This same products on one of subdomains:
http://akademia.tserin-media.pl/
does not work – I only see the code.
II. Plugin is activated on whole network
I see the codes but no products (of course – those are different database tables)
Any ideas what to fix ?
July 25, 2010 at 3:18 am #21924amin007ParticipantDid you place the plugin in the “mu-plugins” directory or the “plugins” directory?
July 27, 2010 at 5:41 am #21925TserinMemberPlugins.
Checking with mu-plugins and fresh Website installation now.
July 27, 2010 at 6:47 am #21926TserinMemberHmm Amin,
unfortunately when I put all of those plugins inside the mu-plugins, then I can not access into configuration menu.
There is no eStore or eMember panel.
Any idea ?
July 28, 2010 at 1:49 am #21927amin007ParticipantWhen you place the plugins in mu-folder they get activated automatically. Not sure why you are not getting a control for them though.
Okay lets backup a bit. when you did the previous try where you had it working on the main domain did you activate the plugin site wide so all the sub domains get it too? In the MU Settings you can specify which plugins you want to have active site wide so it will be available on the sub blogs too.
