Anyone can “makeup” a business name. The only way you are going to sell products to bona-fide businesses **only** is through a process which involves human vetting of the transaction. You could use the scenario in your other post, as a way to do this:

Are you really trying to only sell products to bona-fide businesses, or are you just trying to force them to fill out the field?

    Hi

I’m not a developer of eStore but I customise it a lot.

One approach that springs to mind is having them register in a way that gives them access to pages or admin areas that others would not see. That is something to consider in the case it might have use for other things. User meta data would be used to save their account status. I use an “Account” plugin on my own blog, which gives customers access to downloads, but anyone simply registering can’t access the downloads.

When you say you only want to sell to business customers, do you know them prior to the sale?

If you don’t, what if a none business customer enters anything they want in the form what issue does that create for you?

    Thanks

    Ryan

    Thanks for your replies.

Our law has different requirement regarding disclaimers and refunds etc. when selling to or “private” customers instead business entities / entrepreneurs.

I clearly state on the shop that i only cater to businesses.

But i want to have an additional safety, by asking for business name or perhaps tax id.

Business name would be great if could passed always to pdf-stamper, no matter if paid by paypal or not
