    Hi there:

I am a new user and am trying to set up my eStore to sell physical and digital products. I have product pictures and for some reason they are not showing up along with my product description.

I am attempting to do this under the Additional Product Details heading of the plugin, but I am not sure where to upload the image to: whether it should be uploaded to my web host or I just insert the pictures on the product page I am setting up. I have tried to do this, but for some reason, the image doesn’t show up there, either.

Can you please help me with this?

    Thank you!

    Sandra

You can upload the image anywhere you want. You just need to enter the URL of the image (where you have uploaded the image e.g. http://www.your-site.com/wp-content/uploads/images/example.jpg) in the “Thumbnail Image URL” field under “Additional Product Details”.

Most users prefer to use the WordPress’s media uploader to upload images to their site.

Also you need to use one of the fancy display shortcodes to show the thumbnail image with your product.

Why can’t you have the feature ability to upload image to product from the add/edit/manage products? There are too many steps and having to move between different areas – automatic settings in the admin are the best option.

I’m not feeling very comfortable with my purchase today. :(
