MemberDear Sirs, use for some time wp-emember and wp-estore with satisfaction.
Now i made a video course of nine months that I want to protect and release to members on a monthly basis.
I created 9 levels/users, one for each month and automatically incremented every 30 days:
October-November-December-January-Febraury-March-April-May-June
I created a page that contains links to the video lessons protected shortcode in this way::
[Emember_protected for = 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 custom_msg = ‘You have not access to this month’]
Link of the month / level in October
[/ Emember_protected]
[Emember_protected for = 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 custom_msg = ‘You have not access to this month’]
Link of the month / level in November
[/ Emember_protected]
Etc.
In this way, students who sign the program will be able to follow the course from start to current month.
But I need that the students can see the content from the month of registration and not on the previous ones.
So, if the student subscribes in October you will see the content from October onwards, until the end of the course or until they stop paying the monthly payment.
But, if the student subscribes in January will see only the contents from January onwards and not the contents of the previous months.
How do I achieve this protection depends on the date of registration?
Thanks for the help you could give me.
Best regards

KeymasterThe section protection doesn’t care about the user’s join date at all. It just takes into account their membership access level then protects the content according to their level.
If you use posts that are protected, then you can use the following addon to make it so that the join date of the user is also taken into account for older post:
So if you have WordPress posts that you have protected and you are using the above extension then the plugin won’t show the posts that were published before the user’s join date.
Not sure if that will do exactly what you are after though.
