I have several affiliate banners out there on various sites. Everything seems to be working fine so far….but when you go to google web master tools and check traffic > Links to your site
It does not show any of the affiliate links pointing to my site.
That was 1/2 the intent was to use the WP Affiliate plug in to increase inbound links and thus Google juice…..
Am I doing something wrong ? How can you make the googlebot see the banners as inbound links ?

You are not doing anything wrong. Those are also inbound links but Google bot has a mind of it’s own and it will include them in the display (the one you see in your web master tools) if it feels like it and when it feels like it. You can never force the bot to do something that you want. You just gotta keep doing the good work and Google will reward your hard work. Trying to play the system will only get you into trouble.
