I want to access a protected page which can only be reached once the visitor pays for the product. I have eMember, eStore and eAffiliate plugins.
This is what I did
In eMember: Settings – I checked all three boxes in “WordPress User Integration Settings”
Then I went to “Membership Level” and created an “Admin” membership.
Default WordPress Role: Administrator.
Subscription Duration: No Expiry
Then I went to the page and in eMember Protection options – I chose –
Yes, Protect this content.
In Select the membership level that can access this content: I chose Admin and the Page.
Then in a different browser I went to see the page. The page was protected. I clicked on login and filled my wordpress login user and password. I got the message “Wrong username or password”.
I could not access this page even in the same browser.
How do I login as an “Admin” to see the pages I have protected?
May 24, 2012 at 3:32 am #45387adminKeymasterImport your WP Admin user into a membership level that has access to everything.
You can import any WP User from the following area of eMember:
WP eMember Members menu -> Import WP Users
May 24, 2012 at 2:31 pm #45388interlinkusa1MemberCan you please clarify on it. On Import WP Users page there are two sections
Section 1: with these headings
“Import all users to eMember” – Membership Level – Subs.Starts from – Account State – Preserve Role
and
Section 2: with these headings
# – User Name – Email – Membership Level – Subscription Starts from – Account state – Preserve Role
No matter what I did I got the following message.
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.
I will really appreciate if you could please give me clear steps to do it.

May 24, 2012 at 11:58 pm #45390adminKeymasterIn your case you only need to use “section 2” to import the admin user only (there is a checkbox next to each WP User so select the admin user, choose the membership level and hit the import button).
The following error comes from WordPress and it usually means that you are not logged in as the admin user but trying to perform an admin operation.
"You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page."
Try logging out from WordPress and then relog as the WP Admin user and give it another try.
No, you do not need to create a page for each membership (you can if you want to but its not mandatory).
