I know this might seem very basic but I am very new to this.

I would want to link a “buy now button” for an up sell on my thank you page to one of my products.

    How do I do this?

    many thank

Well, let’s first get our definitions straight…

“Thank You page,” is displayed AFTER a purchase has been made. Other than when it is displayed; there is nothing “special” about it.

“Up Sell,” usually means an opportunity to sell “something else” to the customer, as part of, or related to, the original reason they bought something.

“Buy Now button,” means a button that causes an eStore product to be purchased NOW, without going through the cart.

Here are the instructions on how to use Buy Now buttons:

All you’d be doing is creating a Buy Now button for whatever it is you’re trying to up sell to the customer, and then placing it on the Thank You page.

If you need a link (instead of a button) then you can use the following feature of WP eStore:

thanks for these guys, and also for the lesson on the terms. I appreciate the lesson.

just to clarify, the first thank you page comes up after someone has signed up for a free product. It is here that I am offering them an additional product to buy now.

I also need to add buy now buttons to my products as well as an add to cart option.

time to read the above links.

Appreciate the help. I am sure I will be back here for more.
