Tagged: changelog, how to upgrade, update, version
I know how to tell what version I have, but where do I find what the latest version is? I’ve looked all over the site and haven’t found anything. Please let me know. I’m asking in the WP eStore forum, but would like to know for eMembers and the Affiliate plugin as well (I purchased all 3 as a package).
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Of course, within an hour of posting I decided to look one more time and found it. For anyone else looking there’s a changelog for the plugins, that shows the latest version. The eStore is here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wordpress-estore-plugin-change-log-56
There is also anther page that lists the stable versions of all the plugins:
How do I know what version of the plugin I have installed on my site? I can’t seem to locate that information.
I did locate that the newest version is 4.9.4 – eStore.
Please go to WP eStore->Settings. You should be able to see the current version installed on your site at the top. You can also find the current installed version of any plugin from the plugins menu in WordPress installation.
And how do I download the latest version?
Your answer above, listing the /version-info page as giving the most current version is confusing. The page now lists version 6.3.4, but you sent me version 6.3.7 a few weeks ago.
I would like to be sure that I always have the most current version. Is there another source with the *real* information?
Thanks.
By using the link, in my previous post, you will be emailed download links to the latest Tips & Tricks plugins that you own. You can then download the files and examine the WP configuration header file for each plugin.
The “version info” page lists the *stable* version details of the plugin not the current build. We only mark a version *stable* once we have performed significant amount of testing.
