I am currently developing a website where students can log in and take multiple choice tests. The registered students information eg, Name, test taken, marks for each test taken etc, is currently stored as per the WP Users.

However, after installing WP eMember the new students information is stored in the eMember Members area, and the registered student cannot see their historical exam results.

How can my students have access to their exam results / profile etc.

Hello Muneesh, do you want to import all WP Users into WP eMember? If you do then click on WP eMember >> Members >> Import WP Users. It is always best to use one management system.

The following documentation will be useful for you:

    Kind regards

Thanks, this was useful, exactly what I wanted.

Once the user is logged in, how can he update / see his WP profile, is their a button than can take him to his profile.

As previously mentioned; there can only be one user management system “in charge” of WP at a time. Once eMember becomes the active user management system; users should be dependent upon the information contained in their eMember profiles, not their WP profiles.

So, how can a user update his eMember profile? Is their a way for a user to see his backend profile?

You can just make a link on your sidebar that links to the profile page.

You can create a page and use the [wp_eMember_edit_profile] shortcode on it which will allow user to edit their membership profile.

    List of membership plugin shortcodes:
