I have done setting mailchimp integration by putting
check mark, mailchimp list, mailchimp user and password.
Is this all the setup needed?
Do I need to do any setup on mailchimp account side?
There is no detail or video about how to setup mailchimp integration
and tested few free signup, but it’s not working for me.
February 3, 2011 at 3:53 am #28635wpCommerceModeratorPlease go to WP eStore->General Settings->Testing and Debugging Settings and check the “Enable Debug” option. Click on “Reset Debug Log files”.
Place a “squeeze page” type form on a post/page to test it out. Enter your details and click the download button. Once you are done please share the content of “eStore_post_payment_debug.log” and “squeeze_form_debug.log” files. This files will be stored in the wp-cart-for-digital-products directory.

However, I’m using eMember.
February 5, 2011 at 2:29 am #28637amin007ParticipantThere is no setup needed on the mailchimp side. Can you please double check the username and password to make sure there is no mistake in there (if the login details are incorrect then mailchimp integration wont’ work). Please also post the list name that you have specified for mailchimp. What version of eMember are you using?
September 21, 2011 at 7:34 am #28638ramonaParticipantI installed a squeeze page with product 1 = membership. The log files say:

Basically, you have made a requirement to provide an extra field called “MMERGE3” for this list in your MailChimp account. Make sure you have only the email address a required field and nothing else (the default setup when you create a list in MailChimp).
September 22, 2011 at 7:17 am #28640ramonaParticipantThank you, changed it now and it works. I did not know this.
March 25, 2012 at 12:45 pm #28641sweetearthMemberI had a similar problem, and this solution worked for me as well.
But now, neither the username info (required on WP eMember) nor the first/last name (optional) is saved in MailChimp list.
Is it possible to have multiple required fields on both eMember and MailChimp list, for example, as follows?
[WP eMember] –> [MailChimp list]
email * –> email*
username * –> username*
first name –> first name
last name –> last name
March 25, 2012 at 10:27 pm #28642adminKeymastereMember will only send the Name (first and last) and the email address of the user to MailChimp. It won’t send the username data.
June 21, 2013 at 9:08 pm #28643StarCircleAcademyMemberI don’t have eMember, so this may not work, however, I have been using the EStore “Manage Customer” page selecting for a specific product. That gives me a table of all purchasers of that product and includes their email address, first and last name, transaction number, price paid, etc. I can then cut and paste this data into Mailchimp using Mailchimp’s “Import” feature. By checking the “Update” box upon import you can import additional fields.
If you’ve already created a “username” field in Mailchimp then any eMember page that shows a list including both the user email address AND the username can be used to import (set) the username. It’s manual, but it’s pretty easy to do. And it doesn’t matter if there is extra stuff on the page, you can tell Mailchimp to ignore the extraneous stuff.
January 19, 2017 at 3:40 am #28644clearscopedesignParticipantCan you please just clarify for us:
When using the MailChimp AutoResponder, ALL new members who create an account via a registration form will be added to MailChimp, is that correct?
Is it possible to allow for an ‘opt-out’ option for the MailChimp signup within the registration forms?
