How to include donation amount and name in the Purchase Confirmation Email?

Once a customer makes a donation we would like to thank them and send them an email to act as a receipt (which will have our 501(c)(3) number for their records. Is there a way to include donation amount, date and name in the Purchase Confirmation Email?
