    Hello

There is no point in having the admin top bar for subscribers since they have the profile page where eMember takes them when they need to edit their profile details and such.

So, how can I avoid displaying the bar to them?

This comes from WordPress. The following plugin will help you turn off the WordPress admin bar:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/global-admin-bar-hide-or-remove/

You can also edit the WordPress user’s profile manually and turn off the display of that admin bar at the top.

In our eMember plugin we have added a feature to turn it off also. You can check the “Hide Admin Toolbar” option in eMember settings to turn off the WordPress admin toolbar.

Is there anyway to hide the admin bar for everyone except WP admins? My admin accounts don’t have eMember memberships, but this setting is overriding the admin bar for WP admins as well.

We have added a new feature that you can use to hide the admin toolbar for all users except the admins.

This feature can be enabled by checking the following settings option:

Hide Admin Toolbar for All Except Admins

    Hi,

That is fantastic. However I don’t give my clients admin access for obvious reasons, however they still need to edit the site.

It would be great to allow editors to also see the admin bar. (or better still let you tick which roles can see the admin bar).

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    Rob.

It will be available in the next version of the plugin. I have you sent you a copy of the plugin (via email) that has the option so you can use it now.

Any chance you can also email me a copy of the new plugin with this added feature?

    Thanks!
