How to handle different commissions for different affiliates for one product

Hi there,

Is this possible with WP Affiliate?

We’re using WP affiliate and paypal to sell (no WP estore). The product has a one time trial period and then recurring payments after that.

I’d like to have 25% commission on the entrance + 25% on recurring payments, for regular affiliates. Then, 50% on the entrance + 25% on the recurring for a select group of affiliates. I hope there’s a way to automatically increase the commission amounts per selected affiliate and have a different % for the trial period and the recurring payment?

Hi, with your current integration method there are two places where you can specify a commission amount:

1) In the General Settings of Affiliate plugin.

2) In the affiliate profile (which will override the commission amount specified in the General Settings).

Let’s say you have specified 25% in the General Settings. All the affiliates will continue to receive a 25% commission when the subscription(trial or recurring) amount is charged.

Now you can specify 50% in some of the affiliate profiles which will make it so they receive a 50% commission when the subscription(trial or recurring) amount is charged. Unfortunately you can’t award 50% commission only for the trial and 25% for the recurring.
