How to export existing eMembers to create WP users?

Is the setting “Create WP account for eMember users” able to create WP users from all existing eMembers or only new eMembers once selected? And, as a previous forum post points out, the password will be set to “changeme”- is there a workaround for this?

The “Create WP account for eMember users” option from the Admin Function menu will create WP user account for all your existing eMember users. After that, you can enable the following option so WP user account gets created for any new emember account (and their account login is kept in sync):
