How to enforce validation and add captcha

I have found a previous posting on this, but my web developer says this is not helpful. So I assume that Affiliate Platform has been updated since.

I would like to know please:

1. How to enforce completion of the various fields in the sign-up form. At present, you can submit a blank form and it will be accepted – which really is not good.

2. How to remove the Tax ID/SSN field.

You can make any form field “required” by following the instructions here:

However, if you would like “PayPal Email Address” to be required you can do so by enabling “Make PayPal Email Address a Required Field” option in the settings (You don’t have to customize the code for it).
