MemberI would like to change the message:
“Cart does not meet the minimum requirement for this coupon!”
to say
“Make sure you entered a valid coupon for the product you are purchasing!”
Thanks

KeymasterThe following should show you how you can customize these messages:

MemberThe solution provided will be erased after an update (see note below).
“Note for future plugin updates: Before you update the plugin in the future make sure to keep a backup copy of the customized language file. This way you will be able to apply the customizations back to the plugin easily after the update.”
Is there a way to create something similar to a “child theme”?
After the website is delivered the client will not know how to re-apply customizations.
Thanks

Well then, it means you will get a repeat customer.
Seriously… the customizations would need to be reapplied; if the eStore plugin was upgraded to a newer version. If the plugin is never updated, the customization never needs to be reapplied.
Provide the client with a backup of the current plugin directory; so that if they or anyone else screws it up, they can recover.

MemberI rather have repeat customer because of the quality of my work, not because of a flaw.

KeymasterHere is a customization that you can use to put the language file outside the plugin’s folder and load it from there. That way it doesn’t get overridden if the plugin is updated. This gives you that child theme like functionality.
