Hello,
A client from one of my product, bought the product from his own affiliate link. I already have the option activated in the settings to avoid that, but I feel that the client used a differnt mail, and different IP. So, commission will be given to him. I could just delete the commission, but it’s a recurring payment, so I’d have to do that every month.
It’s a 0 trial product, he didin’t received anything yet, but I would like him not to receive any notification nor credit at all. Is there a way I can delete the link / tracker between the affiliate and the sale ? On the database directly maybe ? I’d like this affiliate not to be associated with the sale at all.
Thank you very much for your answer!

February 19, 2014 at 10:12 pm #60956dj_cholapinMemberHi wzp,
Thanks for your reply. Yes I already have this activated, but the client used another email, another IP, so it looks like he is not the same person. (So he is considered hisself by the plugin as a different referer, it’s done). What I’d like to do is delete that link that have been created between the client and the affiliate…
Best Regards
February 19, 2014 at 11:49 pm #60957adminKeymasterYou can’t change anything on an existing/ongoing subscription (PayPal doesn’t allow it). Cancell that subscription and tell him to do purchase the subscription again (this time without any affiliate link).
February 20, 2014 at 11:33 am #60958dj_cholapinMemberOk thank you for your feedback. So I understand that the link between client and affiliate is not done in our own database, but in Paypal ? If this is it, I understand that it cannot be changed. I won’t tell him to subscribe again he might not do it. What I was looking for was just to delete that “tracking” between the affiliate and the client, which is the same person, so he won’t receive nothing… I guess I’d have to cancel it manually every month…
Many thanks for your feedbacks
February 20, 2014 at 4:12 pm #60959wzpModeratorIn “real business,” it is sometimes necessary to exercise your right to do business the way you want; irregardless of what the customer wants.
February 21, 2014 at 1:27 pm #60960dj_cholapinMemberConsidering the fact that this is already forbidden in the terms, well asking him to cancel / resubscribe would mean a lack of profesionalism. No “real business” companies would tell you that as a client. The most “real business” practice I though of to apply that right, was to cancel the link, and send a notification why. But if this is not possible, it will be option 2, cancel them manually every month Thanks for your feedbacks.
