How To Customize The Affiliate Signup Page

I would like to get rid of the Paypal email address input because I won’t be paying with PayPal. And I would also like to collect their Tax ID. How can I do this?

Your affiliates can enter in their tax ID after they log into their affiliate account by editing their profile/details.

The PayPal email field is not mandatory (unless you make it mandatory). So it doesn’t really matter if that field is there or not (it will be just an optional field). All you need to do is inform your affiliates how exactly you will make the payout so they know what to expect. You can take a look at what we do as an example here:

If you tell them that you won’t pay via PayPal then they won’t expect to get paid via PayPal. Let me know if that helps.

OK How do I get rid of the Paypal email field? I looked in the settings and couldn’t find it anywhere? My affiliates will think it’s weird that I am even asking them for their Paypal email address. They will get paid via check through my payment company.

Look for the following field in the settings menu of the affiliate plugin:

Make PayPal Email Address a Required Field

If you can’t see that field then please update the plugin to a more recent build. Please do the following to update:

1. Deactivate and delete the currently installed version of the plugin(s).

2. Download a fresh build of the plugin(s) from here:

3. Upload and activate this version of the plugin(s). The specific update instruction for the plugin in question can be accessed from here:

That field is unchecked in the settings, but the “Paypal email address” field is still on the affiliate sign up page. I’m wanting to get rid of that field altogether. So it doesn’t show up on my affiliate sign up page? How do I do that?
