I am sure I am missing something – Just wish to confirm that the process flow below will work.
I have a product on Page A (Product page) and am asking affiliates to send visitors to Page B (Landing page)… there is a link for them to go from Page B to Page A.
I want to ensure that visitors are appropriately cookied on landing on Page B… and if and when they visit Page A and buy, the appropriate affiliate commission is captured.
Is there something I need to do to make this happen or will the plugin work normally in this scenario
April 29, 2013 at 10:57 pm #55328wpCommerceModeratorHi, are these two pages hosted on the same site(same WP Install) where you have the WP Affiliate Platform installed? If they are then it will work fine.
Please check this post for more info

January 24, 2015 at 4:43 pm #55331incometvMemberI have read numerous topics for several hours including https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/wp-multisite-install-and-plugin-behavior maybe I missed something lol
I have Prosite and WP Affiliate integrated together.
My WP Affiliate is on my main site. Every time someone signs up for a site (Prosite), the affiliate portion is created as well automatically.
Their site becomes MainSite.com/TheirSite
Can we cookie a visitor just from the mere landing on MainSite.com/TheirSite without first going to MainSite.com/TheirSite?ap_id=theirsite (BTW, their affiliate and site is the same ID) ?
If not, how can I do this and keep their URL pretty like MainSite.com/TheirSite
Would I need a helper plugin of some sort so it will track from subdomain /TheirSite ?
Maybe like an invisible 1px image on the page that triggers the cookie? How?
BTW WP Affiliate is awesome
