How to change drop-down menu styling for variations?

Is it possible to implement custom styling for the drop-down menus for product variations, and if so, how?

For example, check out the ‘purchase’ section to the right, just below the header image on this page:

I’m a beginner, so creating something like that from scratch with CSS and HTML is beyond my skill level. But I could handle adjusting fonts, colors, etc in existing CSS…

WP eStore’s variation drop down menu has the “eStore_variation” class attached to it so you can customize it from the CSS file.
