How to allow customers to view past orders and current order status

I Would like the my customers to be able to view their past and current order status.

i know i need to have emember installed, and i understand the instructions in the link bellow. but i would like them to see more information. Also where could i retrieve the order data if i wanted to use it to create my own status page for my clients?

Is it possible to allow customers to view their past orders (eStore+eMember)

What kind of past order information are you wanting to display?

The site is built for a printing company, so my main goal is to have the customers be able to see the order status of any given order, by either searching there order number or in a list with all their orders.

You should add the following order management addon to eStore:

You can then get pretty much all the info of an order (just like that order management addon shows you in the admin dashboard). You can query the database of that addon and retrieve the info then create your own custom implementation of whatever you want to do.
