I am a little confused about adding a product to paypal. I have added a digital product in eStore as well as eMember. Then I added the product on the store page using this code: [wp_eStore_fancy2 id=1].

Then I followed your video on “Setup paypal payment button to accept membership payment”. In the end it tells you to create a code in paypal and copy and paste it on the page.

Q1. If I am using the eStore shopping cart code then where do I paste this code?

Q2. Since I am using the shopping cart code, do I even have to create a paypal button, if not then what is the process of attaching the product with paypal?

    Thanks for your help,

    LA

    Hi,

Q1. If I am using the eStore shopping cart code then where do I paste this code?

A: since you are using both eStore and eMember you should not be creating or using a PayPal button.

Please see this page for how you can integrate eMember with eStore:

Q2. Since I am using the shopping cart code, do I even have to create a paypal button, if not then what is the process of attaching the product with paypal?

A: No – as per the answer above.

eStore has many shortcodes you can use to show “Add To Cart” or “Buy Now” buttons.

All of your products only need to be configured in eStore and eStore will talk to PayPal and take care of the processing of the payment.

I strongly recommend that you take the time to read and watch the intro videos so you can understand how eStore works:
