Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP PDF Stamper › PDF Stamper – How does the email password protection feature work?
I have checked the box to use password protection via the purchasers email. I also read that their email has to be given in order for it to be used as a password. Does this email address password get generated when a buyer purchases through paypal or do they need to enter this information some where else? Given that a buyers email gets stamped on the pdf automatically when purchased I had thought that their email would be assigned as the password automatically, but perhaps not. Can you please explain how this feature works? Thanks!!
Whatever email address is getting stamped is set as the password for the file. So that address is needed to open the file. They don’t need to enter it separately. The plugin takes the data from the transaction.
Thank you. Everything is working smoothly, thank you for your prompt support!!
