I just made a few galleries and albums. No problems there.

However, I can’t seem to place them on the required pages.

I made a album with 3 galleries. All on the same page. The site made the page. I couldn’t seem to direct it to a specific page.

I them made another album with 2 galleries, but the site put them on the same page. Clearly im doing something wrong. Any ideas.

The plugin automatically creates a page with the title “Photo Albums”. This page will display all your albums as thumbnails where each thumb represents an album – assuming you have created some albums.

The plugin will also automatically create a separate page for each album. When you click on an album thumbnail you will then be taken to this page which will display some gallery thumbnails. Each thumbnail will represent a particular gallery within the album.

It’s simple to understand when you realise that the hierarchy works like the following:

You can have a collection of albums>>>>>Each album can have a collection of galleries>>>>>Each gallery can have a collection of photos.

If you still have a problem please post a link to your album page so we can take a look.

    Dear,

It seems i’m not intelligent enough to work this out.

What I try to create is the following:

In my menu I click on the topic “Photo”

    > I want to get a page with several albums (thumbnails) for example “Album Cats” and “Album Dogs”

    >> I click on an album (for example “dogs”) I get several galleries (For example “black dogs”, “white dogs”)

    >>> In the gallery i find several photo’s of dogs

    What i get now:

I have my menu “photo” and then i get a sub-menu with albums “cat”, “dog” but that’s not what i want. .. It should be “Menu photo” > several thumbnails of albums > several thumbnails of galleries > several photo’s

    Best regards,

    Arno

Please provide a link to the page so I can see what you mean.

Under “Foto’s Kopen” you see “Albums” and when you hover on that you get “Album 1”.

The point is that i get thumbnails with albums when I click on Albums. I don’t need the sub menu “Album 1”

    Best regards,

    Arno

    Hi Arno,

If all you want to do is remove the “Album 1” link from the submenu, then that is easy to do.

Just go to the WordPress dashboard and navigate to Appearance->Menus and remove it.

I’m sure there are plenty of instructions online if you search for them regarding setting up menus in wordpress.

    That is not the issue.

If i remove the submenu, i would like to have it as a thumbnail on the page “Albums”.

All i want is all my albums as a thumbnail (or icon) on the page “Albums”. Then when you click on one of the thumbnails you go to your page of the selected album. On the page of the selected album you see your gallery.

Basicly, all i need is the submenu “Album 1” replaced by a thumbnail or icon on the page “Albums”…

    I see the problem.

This page which you have: [http://fotografe-mazzone.be/store/albums/] is not correct.

The plugin would have automatically created an album home page for you with title “Photo Albums” and a shortcode as follows:

    [WPS_photo_albums_home]

Do you have this page in your wordpress system somewhere?

Alternatively you can edit the [http://fotografe-mazzone.be/store/albums/] page and place the above shortcode inside it.

Also make sure to set the “Album Home Page” in the Photo Seller->Settings page too.
