I am giving away the most expensive subscription to a select group of members on a private page…

I set the product up as .00 cost…

However, when I click on the Buy Now Button, the program takes me to the Paypal Payment Page.

    How do I stop this?

I am of the belief that I must redirect the member to the registration page…

but I do not know where to find the link.

All replies and suggestions will be appreciated!

    1) First you need to place backdoor registration forms for this elite membership level on a hidden page. This documentation has instruction on how to do this:

    WP eMember Miscellaneous Tweaks

    2) Once you have a secret page where you can send users to sign up for your elite level all you need to do is send them to that page. Edit the product that you setup as $0.00 cost and specify the URL of the page (you created in step 1) in the “Button Link” field.

    3) Now place an add to cart type button using one of the shortcodes for the add to cart type button.

This button will send the user to the secret registration page when clicked rather than sending them to PayPal.

Thank you for your previous reply….

    I am very close…

However, When I install the 2 shortcodes… 1 for the free membership and 1 for the add to cart button,

I get the following “Error” message…

Free membership is disabled on this site!

Please visit the Payment Page to pay for a membership.Click Here

I have gone through the site in an attempt to find a check box or some other means of allowing the Free Membership…. For the life of me I cannot find it!

Please point me in the right direction…
