Allow users to download free with a special code – How do I solve this need?

I have an organization that will be issued a prepaid download code good for numerous downloads. The user selects the product and enters the code and should be able to get the digital product. This will not work with Paypal because with the code, the product is free. I need to be able to keep track of how many times the code has been used for bulk invoicing to the organization. Can I do this with WP EStore?

I am not 100% if it will meet your needs but maybe you can use the following method:

1. Setup your site using option 1 from this post:

2. Now, create coupons that will reduce the price to $0 (you can also put a limit on how many of these can be used

3. Now give out the coupon codes as your *secret codes*.

Anyone, who use those coupon codes will be able to checkout via the manual checkout and get the items from free.
