We have a Promotion for Buy 12 get 1 Free.

If the Customer purchases 12 of Item A then we ship them 1 extra of Item A. So they are getting 13 of Item A for the price of 12.

The Confirmation of the Order must specify this.

How do I set this up?

I searched buy 12 get 1 free, buy 1 get one free and these key phrases do not work in Keyphrase box below

    Thanks in advance

You can use a conditional coupon code; IF quantity of specific product ID > 12 THEN subtract dollar cost of 1 item.

Here is the documentation for creating discount coupons:

I just found out that the product is packaged in a 6 pack. And the promotion is: Order Two 6 packs and get 1 individual unit free.

We do not sell the product as an individual unit.

We do not want to discount the unit cost of the product. We just want to send 1 individual unit free with the purchase of Two Six Packs.

And the confirmation email needs to show that they are getting 1 individual unit free.

You could make a new eStore product which is “Two Six Packs”. You set the price to whatever you want. This product comes with 2 six packs and 1 individual unit free. Put a buy button for this product on your product page so the customer can choose to buy this option (if they want).
