I would like to setup a paypal subscription for my customers. Using estore + emember + eaffiliate
I would like the subscription to be good for one year and not automatically renew.
In e-store: “Subscription/Recurring Payment Specific Settings (Click to Expand)”
I have these settings:
Trial Billing Amount = blank
Trial Billing Period = 0 day
recurring billing amount = 0.01
Recurring Billing Count” is set to -1
When I pretend to be a customer and pay through paypal I get too many emails.
One email I don’t want to get as a customer is the “Profile Canceled” email that is sent from paypal. I think this confuses the customer.
Is there a way around this? I thought of using “Buy now” but then I would have to delete members/customers that are over 1 year old every day in a years time.
So the subscription method allows expiration, but boy it’s confusing to the customer when they receive the cancel email from paypal. “You successfully canceled the following PayPal Recurring Payment profile. We will no longer bill the buyer. If you did not request this cancellation, contact PayPal Customer Support toll-free at 1-888-221-1161.”
Any ideas?
Thank you so much for your excellent product and support.

It kind of doesn’t make sense to use subscription payment for a once off payment (Use “Buy Now” or “Add to Cart” type buttons for one time payment).
You can create a membership level that has a one day expiry set then use a “Buy Now” button to sell membership for that membership level. When customers pay they will get a one day membership.

I set up the WP e_store to use PayPal as payment gateway and set the Euro as currency…
I have few products that need a one of payment and i have no issues with that at all.
I also have some of these products that can be subscribed to and for some raison I keep having the following error once the subscribe button is pressed: the PayPal page opens and show a text saying that the merchant does not allow payments with Euros… Please refer to the merchant and ask him to modify the currency in the preference tab!!!
Does anyone have or had the same issue?
In case you know how to resolve this issue, Please let me Know, will appreciate it very much.

SORRY I solved the problem, It was a misspelling of the word Euro… and for that raison I kept having PayPal error…
It was my fault, not the script fault!!!
Thanks for your good work, keep up with the good work…
