Hello, How do I offer bulk sales of my PDF stamper eBook? For example, I tried to buy 50 copies of my PDF book using a 100% off coupon. I entered 50 in the quantity field, entered the 100% off coupon and the manual sale went through. But my “thank you for your purchase email” only had one download link and it only let me download one copy of my book. How do I offer bulk sales of my PDF stamper eBook? When you sell multiple copies of a digital download; the buyer only gets ONE download link. That is because; eStore does not perform any kind of post sales DRM (Digital Rights Management). Even if you are using the PDF Stamper, there is no way to stamp “Copy X of Y” into each file. In other words, just as in the physical world; with eStore, bulk sales of PDF documents are on “the honor system,” and verification/enforcement is usually reactionary.
By “reactionary,” we mean that licenses are enforced through a legal process; in which a seller demands proof of purchase for “N” copies, and it’s up to the purchaser to produce receipts, showing the proper number of ebook/PDF licenses have been purchased.
If you are using the PDF Stamper, you can imprint the Sales Transaction ID onto each page. You can also password protect each PDF file with the Transaction ID, the buyer’s eMail address, etc.
