How do I completely unlink Paypal from my site

Hello, I have recently been asked to completely take Paypal off my site which I have done but still, if a couple clicks “checkout” it goes to a paypal page saying there is an error or something. I need to completely shut paypal out of the website. Please help:-(

Update: I spoke with Paypal and the API link must be what is causing my website and paypal to still be linked, which folder is this information stored so I can delete it? Thank you

Have you tried nchecking the eStore –> Settings –> Payment Gateway Settings –> Use PayPal checkbox?

And then remove your PayPal email address from the field labeled “Paypal Email Address/Secure Merchant ID”
