How do I add an additional fixed charge to the calculated shipping charge?

I need to add an additional fixed shipping charge (5.00) to the regular shipping charge that gets calculated by the payment gateway PayPal; how do I make that happen?

Example:

Shipping charge to XYZ is $10.00 (will fluctuate depending destination and amount of purchase) PLUS an additional fixed $5.00.

Is there any way to do this..and how would I go about it?

Are you using PayPal profile based shipping? Profile based shipping doesn’t let you add an additional charge. If that charge is always going to be there then simply add that to the product’s price or to the shipping table that you configured in PayPal.
